SWEET BASS

On this song the bass shines through that makes it sound fuller i DIG! The composition is great, i like the punky/faster vocals i blends nicely with the thrash feel! as far as the playing goes holy SMOKES ILL shit! I'm going to be looking forward to hear more from you guys!

One little side note, more a personal preference i guess but it seems like the distortion on the guitars are a little on the fuzzy side, note tho its only noticeable at the start but its perfect for the rest of the song!

My only criticism is that i wish to hear more bass, i know its metal but thats not a reason to not make the bass more prominent, as for every thing else well done this song is thrash and elegant! totally dig it!

Thanks for the review man. An interesting thing about this song and the whole record is that our bassist is actually the one who managed the recording, mixing and mastering of all the songs.

How do you like guitar rig 4?

Awesome song, I have guitar rig 3, i was wondering about the distortion tone you used im sure its custom just was wonderin about the tone and how you like guitar rig 4. besides that awesome song always been a fan of you and bad man since back in 07 great stuff!

Thanks, I'm glad you're still listening to my and bad man's music :).

I like guitar rig very much, that's a really easy solution to get a "quick" good guitar sound. Yes it is custom, the preset sounds are not that good, what I do is taking a preset sound and messing around with it until I get something good. And when I do a new song, I take the preset I had for the previous song and I edit it to have it a bit better. So yeah it might be a bit long but you can get some nice sound with it.

Otherwise, you can check Amplitube out, I heard good things about it but never tested it.
